Why wear a Bowling Shirt?

Bowling shirts once were relegated to the bowling lanes for league play.

Their loose fit was perfect for the movements bowlers made - but beyond buying the beer round or rolling strikes, these shirts rarely saw service outside of the hardwood confines of the lanes. Bowling teams donned similarly colored or styled shirts to adopt a uniform look - I think, to make bowling appear more sporty.

But these styled shirts are making a comeback, for many reasons. Their cut is complimentary for any man’s shape. Heck, I wear a 3XL myself and I feel doggone handsome in mine! Strong vertical stripes help any man look tall and strong - or at least taller and stronger than he is! These shirts look good on you, no matter if you’re a Young Republican sporting a crew-cut, or you’re covered in tattoos and piercings.

I know for sure that I’m not going to look like the guy standing next to me. For most men, we like to express our individuality.
